Black Hole
This is what the famous Whirlpool Galaxy looks like through the eyes of Hubble! Hubble captured this striking image of the Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) and its small companion galaxy in 2005, using its Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS). M51 has a mass of about 160 billion solar masses and a diameter of approximately 60,000 light-years. Its distance from Earth is estimated to be around 23–37 million light-years.
