The first website went online 25 years ago today!!!

Physics Today
As many of you know, the World Wide Web was invented at CERN
by physicist Tim Berners-Lee. Yesterday was the 25th anniversary
of the first web page going live (although CERN's first public page
didn't occur until August 1991). This first web page basically
described an explanation of how the hypertext-based project
worked. You can read a bit more about the anniversary at Engadget.

Tim Berners-Lee's first World Wide Web page flickered to life
at CERN on December 20th, 1990.
