Do atoms going through a double slit ‘know’ if they are being observed? - physicsworld.com

An experiment with helium atoms falling under gravity and nudged by laser beams demonstrates that the atoms display either particle-like or wave-live behavior only after they have been observed. The experiment can be interpreted in another way, however: The atoms somehow have information from the future about how to behave before they are measured.
