Black Hole A region of the sky spanning the area of a thousand full moons, captured in Morocco over ~200 hours of exposure in the constellation Auriga. The image features five supernova remnants—including G180.0−1.7 (the Spaghetti Nebula)—as well as the star cluster M37 and the Tadpole Nebula. The gas filaments glow in color: red for hydrogen and blue for oxygen.
